Who Am I?

What is my name? Daphne Mills, my name bears to honor God. Because I am Daphne, I am Confident, I am Hope, I am Humbled, I am Strength, I am Happiness, I am Joy, I am Peace, I am Favored, I am Honored, I am Lovely, I am Life, I am Beautiful, I am Gracious, I am Blessed, I am Lovable, I am Transitioned, I am Victorious, I am Radiant, I am Empowered, I am Respect, I am a Motivator, I am Commitment, I am Focus, I am Balanced, I am Knowledge, I am Loyal, I am Generous, I am Consistent, I am Productive, I am Talented, I am Vibrant, I am Passion, I am Accomplished, I am Modest, I am Courageous, I am Responsible, I am Creative, I am Considerate, I am Adventurous.

I am Teachable (as well as teach), I am Compassion, I am Accountable, I am Discipline, I am Vibrant, I am Willing, I am Inspirational, I am Worthy, I am Zealous for life. God said, let us make Daphne in our Image, after our likeness (Genesis 1:26). I am the child of my father; God almighty is his name. I am the co-heir with Jesus Christ, and I am comforted and led by the Holy Spirit. Who am I? Not afraid of anything because Christ is alive. Fear is of Satan not of the children of God. I am, “Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

What I am not: Wicked, Wasteful, Vindictive, Nasty, Anxious, Depressed, Fearful, Shame, Guilt, Quarrelsome, Stressful, Rude, Misguided, Deceiver, Insecure, Jealousy, Manipulator, Sadness or Grief. These negative emotions and more, I do not sit in anymore. Peace is my seat, but when these emotions want to come back, I take a deep breath and let it go, because I know who I am. Now find out who you are and what you are not, and don’t accept what someone else is calling you.
