We are created in Christ Jesus to do good works, that we should walk in. We are God’s work in progress. We are his workmanship, Paul tells us. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:10). His workmanship displays His greatness and the goodness. We are created in the His image, regardless, if you have faith in Him or not. He is the potter, and we are the clay. We are the crown of His workings. We are fearfully and wonderfully made; therefore, we should display our lives as the crown represents: royalty, strength, power, prestige, authority, divinity, honor, victory, and courage. The crown signifies status, justice, virtue, and wisdom. We are signified as royalty, as Kings and Queens. We need to step into our roles of authority. We have a divine right, or belief that there is a ruler higher than the ruler sitting in the government seat. The crown represents the highest attainable level of achievement. To wear it is to be victorious and triumphant. It is a sign that one has come to the position of great honor and respect. Whether it comes from God or by man.
We are surround with greatness, so we need to be confident and sure of ourselves. Whether we wear it on our heads or heart, we are a work of something good. the crown is earned, it is not just given to anyone. We must accomplish something significant, perform it well, and stand in the place of excellence representation of God’s glory. Receiving your crown of honor, Shows the outside your inner strength and greatness.
We have to get in our position of authority. No amount of good works can save us, we still need God’s mercy and grace. We need to participate in this workmanship, by displaying the divine nature-His goodness and greatness. God had a plan when He created mankind, He gave us a unique calling and purpose in him. Then, it is transferred into the great commission. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations”…. (Matthew 28:18-20). This is our good works that brings glory to the one who created, redeemed, provided us, and gave us his love. We must see the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us, and through us. Paul teaches us that God has a purpose for our lives. We stand where we are because of grace. To be saved by grace we need to respond by faith. Paul teaches we must walk worthy of that calling (Ephesians 4:1). We must put our trust in God.
The only way to exhibit trust is to do what we supposed to do if we are uncertain about the results of the work. Just as you are on the job and the employer comes and ask you to do something you not sure of, but you do it anyway. This is where we need to be standing before Christ. It means you will trust him in his workmanship. Each of us have a job description given by the eternal creator-crafted by God for good works. Every good work we do is fulfilling our purpose. When we do what we were created to do we are we bring joy to the workman to love and serve. We are God’s workmanship, and He is not finished with us yet.
