Take Out The Sadness Replace It With Joy!

There are many types of emotions that have an influence on how you live and interact with others. Sometimes you are ruled by these emotions, then your choices, your actions, and the way you see things are influenced by what you feel at the moment. Emotions define your experiences of life. Emotions drives how you see the world. With sadness comes anger, fear, pride, guilt, and shame. But joy creates love.

Sadness is a natural part of your life. You either brace yourself with the event, or get overwhelmed by it. Sadness can serve as a reminder of what matter the most to you, what gives your life meaning. Sadness will center your life, when you see and feel sadness, you will get grounded. Life brings about painful realities: relationships with it’s rejections and frustrations, diseases and deteriorations, death, also lot of old pain from the past.

Some of us become fearful not wanting to tap into this feeling of sadness to strike up the buried emotion. We prefer to leave it buried and hold on to it. We learn how to adapt to the painful emotion, so life can feel more bearable. This way ends up bringing harm, this emotion stops us from engaging in the pursuits that brings joy. The emotion could even push us from life itself. When we try to numb the emotion we also numb joy, happiness, passion, and desire. These feelings bring meaning, depth, and purpose to our lives. we value more, want more, and love more.

you must learn to feel your emotions, let them move through you because they connect you to yourself, what you really want. When it comes to joy, joy is experience by many but misunderstood; it is mistaken for happiness. Joy makes a great impact on the mind and body. It can trigger many changes that can improve your physical and mental health.

Joy is different from all the other emotions. Joy in a broad sense is being satisfied with your life the way it is. Joy is experienced and happiness is pursued. Joy makes you mentally prepared to take on life challenges. Joy makes the heart swell, in essence it falls into two categories: connection and self expression. Joy makes your entire being be filled with delight. Joy has nothing to do with materialism, or statues. But have everything to do with the state of mind. Gratitude is the kin folk of joy. This is just a reminder to engage in the practice of gratitude. Make it a daily habit to adopt a new mindset that focuses on what you have than on what you don’t. It is time to go on a journey with joy. Including natural pleasures, love, meaning, and creativity. Connection and creativity goes hand in hand. You need to find something that brings joy and connect, don’t forget the kin folk gratitude. When you find joy, light comes to your eyes, it makes the heart sing.

Let joy emerge, it is a state anyone can choose to have. It is in the knowing that you can tap into this well any time. Even as the world spins out of control, choose to feel the joy. We have joy, but it gets lost along the path of life. Get reacquainted with this fruit of the Spirit just in case you forgot where you lost it. Tap into the joy, it will bring fullness, even just for a moment. Take out the sadness and replace it with joy. Shift your focus it will transfer your world of chaos into peace.

Remember it starts with you and ends with you. Joy is a core experience you need. A true depth of this feeling is the most significant. We all have felt joy at one time. We jumped, shouted, or smiled in delight of some circumstance. Hearing good news, finding something we lost that were so precious to us, or accomplishing something meaningful. Joy brings life meaning, true joy is a potential to grow and endure in the face of loss and suffering. The key is to stay connected to what deeply matters in the face of adversity and loss. Remember take out the sadness, replace it with joy.

My name is Daphne Mills, writing was something I did all the time. Not realizing that it was going to turn into this moment. As a person who loves God, I decided to step out on faith. I am glad I did, because that step brought me to Milo first one of a series. And this platform Grieving: Together We Rise. Come join me on this journey seeing where it's going to lead. I learned with a new outlook everything will become beautiful in its own timing. With a little change in the way we see things it can bring about wonderful things.
