In The Palm of His Hands

I have forgotten all my troubles. My world has been washed cleaned letting the dayspring arise. Full of hope, relaxing, taking it easy. I have started to be renewed! I have become a new creation. The old ways have passed away; and the next big thing in new ways have arrived. I will not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. I am doing a new thing; It now springs forth.

I am trusting in the plan that has been placed before me. Trusting with all my heart, and not leaning to my own understanding. Acknowledging that there is someone that holds me in the palm of his hands. He is the one that keeps my path straight. I have put off the old me and put on the new me. Renew my mind to receive the next big thing in new ways.

The process has begun, the next big thing is carrying me into a fresh new start, working on not to shift and change. I feel lead to pray, Father, thank you that you make all things new. Thank you for all that you’ve allowed into my life, the good along with the hard things, which have reminded me how much I need you and rely on your presence filling me every single day.

I pray for your Spirit to lead me each step I take. I ask that you guide my decisions and turn my heart to deeply desire you above all else. I ask that you open doors needing to be opened, and close the ones needing to be shut. I ask that you help me release my grip on the things to which you’ve said “no,” “not yet,” or “wait.”

I ask for help to pursue you first, above every dream and desire you’ve put within my heart. I ask for your wisdom, for your strength and power to be constantly present within me. I pray you would make me strong and courageous for the road ahead. Give me ability beyond what I feel. Let your gifts flow freely through me, so that you would be honored by my life, and others would be drawn to you. I pray that you’d lead me not into temptation but deliver me from evil.

I pray that you would whisper in my ear when I need to move, and whisper in my heart when I need to stand my ground. I pray for your protection over my family and friends, and those who are reading this. I ask for your hand to cover me and keep me; that you would be a hedge surrounding me. I pray that you would give me discernment and insight, to understand your will, hear your voice, and know your ways. I ask that you keep my footsteps firm, on solid ground, helping me to be consistent and faithful.

Give me endurance to stay the course, not swerving to the right or to the left, or being too easily distracted by other things that would seek to pull me away from a close walk with you. I ask that you make all things new, in my heart, in my mind. I pray for your blessings to cover me; that you would help me to prosper and make every plan that you have birthed in my heart to succeed. Shine your light in me, through me, over me. May I make a difference in this world, for your glory and purposes. Set your way before me, so, I may reflect your peace and hope to a world that so desperately needs your presence and healing. To you be glory and honor forever in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Let’s anchor ourselves to get in alignment and receive the next big thing in new ways. Let’s prepare ourselves for whatever life may bring. Let’s put our hope in the one who makes all things new. God has shown himself faithful to us; we just have to see it. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. And this year as of all the rest, he is bringing in the next big thing in a new way.
