Life and career requires focus, making a person to remain serious. We have to remember to find the time to laugh. Daily tasks and responsibilities can consume us. The weight of it all can make it difficult to take the time to laugh. We must let go and enjoy what we are doing. We become so focused on doing, that we lose sight of being. We start taking life so seriously, that we get a unclear view of what’s worthy our time. We do less laughing and our whole life is just about business. We must not miss out on the joy and happy aspect of life. It is not easy to know what will make you happy when you have been feeling down for a long while. Laughter is the best medicine. It not only lifts your spirit, but also brings benefits to your health and wellbeing.
Laughter can provide healing when life gets hard. When you find yourself to busy to laugh pause and take an inventory of your situation and make the necessary adjustments. As a child we use to laugh many times a day, but as an adult we have took on the serious role and laugh less. Smiling is the beginning of laughter, and it is contagious. Try smiling at someone and see the effect it will have on them. Laugh at yourself work on not taking yourself to serious. Laugh at your mistakes and shortcomings. We all do foolish things from time to time. Instead of being embarrassed, or defensive embrace the imperfections. Yes, while in some events that happen in our lives laughter is not an option.
Lets not go a day without laughing, you don’t have to be a comedian. The point is to release the tension embrace your playful side. Many of us focus heavily on work and have no time for play; having pure fun. Between childhood and adulthood somewhere we forgot how to play and have fun. Leisure time is just sitting in front of the tv, computer, or phone. Instead of playing like you did when your were a child. Give yourself permission to play have fun and enjoy yourself. How about you taking time away from your troubles to play. Start laughing it will make you feel better.
