Be Determine Renew Your Mindset

Renewing the mind, is to decide to see life through the lens of God’s word and being inspired by the Holy Spirit. Instead of looking through the lens of experience, wounds, trauma, preference, or opinions of others. It is a process of exchanging the lies for the truth. You must change the way you think in order to experience everything God has for you. To renew the mind one must fill it up with the word of God. Commit faithfully to all his instructions, living a life of obedience. Let it be his will not your will. Let’s look at a witness: Job never gave up after losing so much. He lost his wealth, all of his children died, his health failed him, his wife told him to curse God and die, he lost his reputation, his friends blamed him for his situation. All these loses, but the man never gave up, he stood still believing that he would make it through.

He trusted in God, and God restored everything back to him. All things work together for good. Say to yourself again and again, God will get me through this. I am going to come out of this with more. I will stand tall. No more falling down for me no matter what comes my way. All things work together for good. Let’s grab another witness: Joseph was betrayed by his brothers, he was sold into slavery. He endured years and years of hardships and injustice. But he remained steadfast unmovable. He became the second in command to Pharaoh. So many people give up as soon as the road gets rocky.

Determination we must have, because it gives us the ability to endure the hardships, the persecution, the imprisonment, the trails, the tribulations, the addictions. Now it is known, that all things work together for good, let’s us grab hold to that determination. Come what may! Even if it storms, the wind blows , fire burns, the rivers overflow, they will not overtake you, because you were determined to pass through to the other side of this.
